More than three hundred people, including leaders and activists of various political parties, have joined the Kurigram district branch of Amar Bangladesh Party (AB Party) as members and activists.
On Wednesday (November 5) afternoon, at the member and activist joining ceremony held at the party's district office in Sabuj Para, Kurigram Municipality, AB Party's Rangpur division's Co-Organizing Secretary Md. Abu Bakr Siddique and Kurigram district branch convener Dr. Md. Nazrul Islam Khan welcomed the new members with bouquets of flowers.
Earlier, AB Party's Rangpur division's Co-Organizing Secretary Md. Abu Bakr Siddique spoke as the chief guest at the discussion meeting. Kurigram district branch convener Dr. Md. Nazrul Islam Khan spoke as the president of the ceremony. Special guests were District Member Secretary Md. Jahidul Islam Jewel, Finance Secretary Panir Uddin, Joint Convener Fajr Ali, Joint Member Secretary Ekram Ali, Joint Member Secretary Alamgir Hossain, Publicity Secretary Shafiqul Islam, Sadar Upazila Convener Shafiqul Islam Liton, Sadar Upazila Joint Convener Abdus Salam, Rajarhat Upazila Convener Adv. Sajjadul Islam Sagar and others.
Among others, Phulbari Kashipur Union Convener Meherul Islam, Union Member Secretary Altaf Hossain spoke.
At least fifty leaders and workers of the district and upazila committees, including 30 members of the student wing, were present at the event.
