Trump’s ‘Board of Peace’: Pakistan Shows Interest, India Yet to Decide

The United States has launched a new diplomatic initiative aimed at easing global tensions arising from the ongoing crisis in Gaza. As part of the effort, South Asia’s two nuclear-armed nations, India and Pakistan, have been invited to join the ‘Board of Peace’ formed under the supervision of President Donald Trump.

A senior Indian government official has confirmed receiving a formal invitation from the United States. However, New Delhi has not yet made a final decision on whether it will participate in the initiative.

Pakistan, on the other hand, has expressed willingness to join the platform. According to the Pakistani Foreign Ministry, Islamabad views participation as a positive step toward contributing to international efforts for peace and security in Gaza.

The initiative comes amid growing regional conflicts, instability in the Middle East, and mounting global political pressure. Diplomatic circles indicate that around 60 countries from different regions have been invited to join the ‘Board of Peace.’

While several countries have already confirmed receiving invitations, the United States has not yet released a complete list of nations that will ultimately take part in the initiative.

Analysts believe the platform, initially focused on the Gaza crisis, could evolve into a significant forum for future global peace talks and diplomatic coordination.
