The Election Commission has released the second phase of its roadmap for the upcoming 13th National Parliamentary Election. The roadmap was made public on Monday.
According to the commission, a preliminary list of polling centres will be published by Tuesday, while the final gazette of all polling centres is scheduled for release on January 22.
As outlined in the roadmap, a special meeting between the Election Commission and law enforcement agencies will be held on January 28. On February 1, funds will be allocated for law enforcement duties and election officials will be appointed as observers. Ballot papers and other election materials will be dispatched to field-level offices on February 2 and 3.
The roadmap also includes instructions not to establish law enforcement camps inside polling centres.
Following recent political developments, the interim administration pledged to hold a national election within a stipulated timeframe. In line with that commitment, the Election Commission announced the election schedule.
