In India’s Andhra Pradesh, a woman has been accused of injecting HIV into the body of her former lover’s wife. Police have recently arrested four people, including the main accused woman, in connection with the incident.

According to police, the principal accused is Basundhara (34). Three others are also alleged to have been involved in the crime. The victim woman and her husband are both doctors by profession.

Investigations revealed that the accused planned a staged road accident. When the victim woman was injured during the incident, the accused approached her under the pretext of offering help. At that moment, HIV-infected blood was allegedly injected into her body.

Police claim that the HIV-infected blood was collected from a local government hospital. During interrogation, the accused reportedly confessed to their involvement in the incident.

Police said the act was planned because the woman could not accept her former lover’s marriage. After a case was filed, four people were arrested, and the investigation is ongoing.
