A large cache of weapons looted from Faridpur Kotwali Police Station has been recovered by Rapid Action Battalion (RAB)-10.

The weapons were recovered at around 2:30am on Wednesday (January 28) from a bush in the Kamalapur area of the town.

RAB confirmed the recovery through a press release. The recovered items include three grenades, 41 shotgun cartridges, and 30 fresh gas gun cartridges.

Preliminary observations suggest that the recovered grenades and cartridges were among the ammunition looted from the police.

RAB-10 Faridpur Company Commander Squadron Leader Tariqul Islam said the operation proves that RAB remains fully prepared and vigilant to prevent any conspiracy against the country. He added that RAB will continue to carry out its duties with the highest level of professionalism in the interest of public safety and national security. This successful operation has once again reassured the public that the security forces are actively and effectively working to maintain law and order, and such operations will continue in the fu
