Hindu’s cowshed torched in Netrokona, 15 cattle burnt

Miscreants set fire to a cowshed at the house of a Hindu community and former union parishad chairman, Dipak Kumar Saha Roy Chowdhury, in Soarikandi village of Takurakona union under Sadar upazila of Netrokona on Sunday (Aug 11) night.

The fire burnt nine cows and six goats alive, as well as damaged irrigation machine. Members of the Hindu community are living in a state of fear following the fire incident.

Dipak Kumar said miscreants set fire to the large cowshed at his house at the Natmondir on Sunday midnight.
