Candidates entered the field only after receiving symbols in the 12th National Parliament Election. A total of 54 candidates including Awami, Jatiya Party, Jasad, Trinamool BNP, Bangladesh Congress and independent candidates are contesting in 7 constituencies of Bogra. Among them, there are several heavyweight candidates in the Bogra-1 seat.

Among these candidates are current MP Awami League nominated candidate Sahadara Mannan, central Awami League leader and prominent businessman KSM Mostafizur Rahman Shyamal, wife of a DIG of Police Shahajadi Alam Lipi, and former BNP leader Mohammad Shokarana.

Independent candidate (Eagle symbol) KSM Mostafizur Rahman Shyamal said, 'The main problem of our area is unemployment. People who are farmers, laborers and other professions have some professional complications. For example, the farmers in the Char area cannot bring their produce to the market. As a result, they do not get the market price. The same is true of the labor market.

That investment may be in various sectors, may be in the industrial sector, may be in the service sector and may be in infrastructure development. I plan to arrange them one by one in the seats.
