Information Commission to Be Formed Soon

The Information Commission will be constituted soon.

"The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting has taken the initiative in this connection," said a press ministry release.

A notification regarding the formation of the Information Commission will be issued in a few days.

According to the Right to Information Act, 2009, this commission will be formed with one Chief Information Commissioner and two Information Commissioners.

At least one of the two Information Commissioners will be a woman.
