Hasina to address public rally in Kotalipara Saturday

Awami League president Sheikh Hasina is scheduled to address a public rally in her constituency (Gopalganj-3) on Saturday, ahead of the 12th parliamentary election slated for January 7.

A preparatory meeting, in this regard, was held at Awami League upazila unit office in Kotalipara of Gopalganj on Wednesday (December 27).

AL upazila unit will organise a public rally at Sheikh Lutfar Rahman Adarsha Government College ground.

Former senior secretary Md Shahid Ullah Khandaker, who is now entrusted with implementing development projects in Awami League President Sheikh Hasina’s constituency, said Kotalipara unit AL has taken all kinds of preparations to make the rally of party chief successful.

People of the upazila are waiting to welcome their beloved leader Sheikh Hasina and listen to her speech, he said.

With Kotalipara upazila unit AL President Bhabendra Nath Biswas, upazila unit General Secretary Aynal Hossain Sheikh, Joint General Secretaries HM Ahidul Islam, Kamal Hossain Sheikh and Aminuzzaman Khan Milon, Organizing Secretary Matiar Rahman Hazra, upazila parishad Chairman Bimal Krishna Biswas, former chairman Mujibur Rahman Howladar, among others, were present, in the meeting.
